Brisket can be an intimidating cut of meat to cook right. But by using these recipes, you will be sure to wow at the dinner table.
Laney Schwartz's Brisket
- In a small mixing bowl, combine: 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp salt and set aside.
- In another mixing bowl, combine: 1/4 cup ketchup
- 3 TBSP Soy Sauce
- 2 Cups Beef Broth, low sodium
- Stir until well combined.
- Take the brisket and vigorously rub the spice mix into the meat.
- Put meat in crockpot.
- On top of the brisket add: 4 garlic cloves and 1 chopped onion.
- Pour the sauce mixture on top of and around the brisket. Put lid on crockpot.
- Cook on low for 8 hours then serve!
